Hangtepower products: the LED tape light power supply is so important to our Hangtepower brand. These Hangtepower dc power supply for led lights are vital to the performance our LED tape lights and ensure high light output. Let’s read more about how to use them properly.
LED tape lights are required to have a power supply to operate since their energy consumption is lower. The power supply converts the electricity that comes out of the wall into a lower voltage compatible with the LED lights. This is for the protection of lights and longer use.
When choosing a power supply for your LED tape lights, you want to ensure it can handle the number of lights you are using. To determine the amount of power you need, you can ask a grown-up to help do the math based on the watts or amps on the power supply.
In order to wire your Hangtepower led tape light power supply, you will need to wire the power supply to the wire of the tape you are adding the lights to. Be sure to pair the positive (+) and negative (-) sides of the wires. Now that all leads are attached, power up the power supply and turn on the lights to see if they’ll light up.
There are some things that can cause your LED tape lights not to work and I’m going to show you how to fix them! Make sure all the wires connect as they’re supposed to, and the power supply is receiving electricity. If everything looks right but the lights still aren’t turning on, the power supply could be faulty, so you would need to purchase a new one from Hangtepower.
In order for your Hangtepower led light power supply to last a long time, store it in a cool, dry place. Don’t overload it with too many lights, and unplug it when you’re not using it. This will make your power supply run more efficiently and ensure your LED tape lights stay bright for a long time.
