On January 28, 2019, CCTV together with China Unicom and Huawei, successfully carried out 5G network VR implementation and transmission at the CCTV Spring Festival Gala Changchun branch. News Channel will use 5G network and ultra-high-definition VR production technology for the first time in the live broadcast of TV convergence media programs. The Shenzhen branch of the 2019 Spring Festival Gala and the Changchun branch will each deploy 2 sets of VR systems based on 5G network transmission, which will provide ultra-high-definition VR panoramas.
